[Important] General applicants who have the score of TOEIC 680 (TOEFL-PBT 530, TOEFL-iBT 71) and more are exempted from taking the English language examination from the Admission for 2013/2014 Graduate School of Horticulture (Doctoral Program)

 

The Graduate School of Horticulture (Doctoral Program) plans to exempt general applicants who have the score of TOEIC 680 (TOEFL-PBT 530, TOEFL-iBT 71) and more from taking the English language examination from the admission for October 2013 and April 2014 enrolment.

Please check the Faculty of Horticulture web site and the Student Application Requirements which will be announced in June 2013 for more details.

 

1.      Admission subject to change: Admission for 2013/2014 Graduate School of Horticulture (Doctoral Program)

Application: Early July 2013

Examination: Mid August 2013

Enrolment: October 2013 and April 2014

 

2. Changes: The way of English language examination

          Previous exam: a written English language examination for general applicants (English language examination is not imposed on applicants continuing from Chiba University's Master's Program)

          Changed new way: General applicants who have the score of TOEIC 680 (TOEFL-PBT 530, TOEFL-iBT 71) and more are exempted from taking the English language examination (English language examination is not imposed on applicants continuing from Chiba University's Master's Program).

 

ESubmission of a copy of TOEIC Official Score Certificate or TOEFL Examinee's Score Record at application (the original certificate is checked during the oral interview).

                            The score of TOEIC-IP or TOEFL-ITP held in Chiba University is acceptable for the graduates of Chiba University only.

                           ETOEIC or TOEFL test must be taken in and after July 2011 for Admission 2013/2014.
