It is widely acknowledged that food and environmental issues need consideration in the twenty-first century. Throughout the twentieth century, humankind has reaped the benefits from a ghighly materialized civilizationh through economic growth and technological advancement. Over the years, our lifestyle has become more convenient and comfortable. On the other hand, social, environmental, and energy issues, such as an increased population in urban areas, environmental pollution across the border, waste of limited resources, and expansion of society with heavy stress, have become a serious threat and have caused considerable damage to the human heart. This damage has further threatened the sustainability of a healthy life and the stable supply of safe food, triggering international harmony and the formation of alliances for the preservation of the environment and the development and utilization of food resources.

The purpose of our expert program is to develop leaders and experts with the ability to resolve these complex issues that are continuously intensifying.

In the masterfs course, students will receive lectures from professionals as well as participate in related seminars/exercises/laboratory experiments. Further, in the doctoral course, they will be required to conduct researches/seminars/exercises/laboratory experiments in different multiple areas. Moreover, during the program, the students will be able to acquire skills related to planning, communication, the understanding of diverse cultures, international sense, and foreign languages, as well as strengthen their basic knowledge and gain ethics, all of which are necessary for leaders and experts.

Students who have completed this program will be certified as gEnvironmental Horticulture Expertsh or gEnvironmental Horticulture Multiexperts,h depending on the course they have completed.

The process of joint certification of gEnvironmental Horticulture Experth and gEnvironmental Horticulture Multiexperth with sister universities is under preparation.
