経歴

埼玉県秩父市出身。千葉大学園芸学部を卒業後、1989年から1996年までアメリカ合衆国の3つの植物園で研修・勤務。帰国後、千葉大学園芸学部に採用、現在は環境健康フィールド科学センター専任。専門は花卉園芸学、植物分子系統分類学。南米のナス科、特にペチュニアを中心に研究を行っている。
