Organic substrates of tropical origin for vegetable transplant production

The organic substrates that are available in tropical zone, such as coconut coir, rice husk, rice husk charcoal, peanut husk charcoal, bagasse charcoal, were determined their physical and chemical properties. Their potentials for vegetable transplant production were compared with commercial growing media.
