Born in Shiga Prefecture. After received Ph. D. from Kyoto University, worked at Research Institute for Food and Agriculture of Ryukoku University as a postdoctoral researcher. Started working at Chiba University in March 2017. My research interests are flower color, especially "black" and the epigenetic changes of ornamental traits induced by environmental factors and virus infection.
