2024.12.12
On Friday, October 25, 2024, four international students from Chiba University's Faculty of Horticulture visited Kakinokidai Elementary School in Matsudo City for to share their cultures such as their native languages, local festivals, and what school life is like in their home countries.
This visit was part of an international exchange program organized by the Matsudo City Board of Education for local elementary and junior high schools.
Participating in this event this time were our students from Indonesia, Ghana, South Korea, and Thailand.
Although the exchange session lasted only two hours, the children listened attentively, learning enthusiastically while enjoying the experience.
[Comment from Feby, an Indonesian Student]
"Thank you for the opportunity to visit Kakinokidai Elementary School.
I initially thought the students might be shy, but I was pleasantly surprised by their warmth, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
I truly enjoyed our conversations and only wish I had more time to connect with them!"
